RESONANCE OF BEING

For me, creation is not merely painting, but an arrival into inner silence. A space where presence leads, where colors do not simply arrange themselves into forms but become vibrations, and where each layer holds the imprint of a lived moment.

My paintings speak of subtle movements beyond the visible – of an inner journey where existence is not an explanation, but pure experience. I believe that when we are truly present, a deeper harmony begins to resonate within us – quietly, yet with elemental power.

I am delighted to share that two of my paintings have been included in the first joint exhibition of the Tibor Ernő Gallery in Oradea and the Szoboszló Art Workshop Association. This collaboration holds special significance, as it brings together artists from both sides of the border in a shared space, where the language of colors, light, and forms creates a bridge between us. It is a great joy for me that my works are part of this inspiring, community-building event.

Exhibition Opening: Saturday, October 25, 2025 – 4:00 PM
Venue: Kovács Máté City Cultural Center and Library, 2nd Floor Exhibition Hall (Hajdúszoboszló)

Exhibited Paintings:
INNER HORIZON, 60×60 cm, acrylic on canvas, 2025
IMMERSION, 50×50 cm, acrylic on canvas, 2024

We warmly welcome everyone to the opening, especially those who wish to pause for a moment in the silence of art.

For me, art is a space of encounter – with ourselves, with each other, and with all that can be understood beyond words.

Art does not dissolve pain, but it can open a path toward understanding, silence, and healing.

With a grateful heart, I am pleased to share that on October 16, 2025, several of my paintings will be on display at the National Interdisciplinary Grief Conference in Budapest, held at the Lurdy Conference and Event Center.

This invitation is especially meaningful to me, as the conference aims to provide a space for professional and human approaches to grief, remembrance, and emotional processing. It is a great joy to contribute to this important dialogue through the medium of art.

I would also like to sincerely thank the conference’s main organizer, who is dedicated to bringing the themes of loss, pain, and new beginnings into focus with sensitivity and humanity.

I am filled with deep joy and gratitude that two of my juried paintings are included in this year’s 17th University Fine Arts Exhibition. The exhibition will be open from October 4 to November 6, 2025, at the University of Debrecen, Life Sciences Gallery.

Exhibited Paintings:
BREATHE, 60×50 cm, acrylic on canvas
The breath of our soul. A quiet call to pause, find stillness, and reconnect with what has always been within us.
TENERIFE
, 60×60 cm, acrylic on canvas
An inner landscape – not mapped, but felt. Where light radiates from within rather than from outside, reminding us of the place where it is inner recognition, not the path, that leads.

I am grateful that these works can take form in this space. Perhaps they will resonate with others – evoking an old feeling, a familiar vibration, or simply a moment of inner silence. If you come, please don’t just see them with your eyes – see them with your soul. They are like mirrors, reflecting not the outside world, but what lives deeply within you.

I am delighted to share that my painting “IDILL” has been selected for the MűvészTerem Talent Search Exhibition, which will take place in Budapest at MOM Park from August 21–29, 2025.

The exhibition will feature nearly 500 works by around 200 talented artists. From this selection, the professional jury will choose 30 pieces to advance to the second round, giving them the opportunity to be showcased in a prestigious contemporary gallery in Budapest.

If you happen to be nearby and have some time, I warmly encourage you to visit this inspiring exhibition! Visitors can also vote for the artwork that moves them the most.

I would be truly happy if you could take a photo with my painting – if you share it with me or tag me (@truzs.art), I would be very grateful!

BELSŐ VIRÁGZÁS – INNERBLOOM
Exhibition & Gallery Opening
May 9, 2025 – 4:00 PM
4025 Debrecen, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky St. 8

Dear Guests, Friends, and Art Lovers,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the opening of BELSŐ VIRÁGZÁS – INNERBLOOM and the Truzs.Art Gallery – a space where colors, forms, and emotions meet the subtle vibrations of the soul.

For me, “Innerbloom” signifies more than mere blossoming. It represents an inner process – a quiet unfolding that is neither loud nor spectacular, yet deeply transformative. The canvas carries not a landscape, but inner resonances: memories, feelings, and wordless messages, offering a form of silent self-revelation. The works you see here emerged intuitively – guided not by a predetermined plan, but by my inner voice. Every brushstroke is a breath, every color an imprint of an emotion.

I hope these paintings will serve not only as visual experiences, but as mirrors: opportunities for you to see what is blooming within. Within each of us resides a creative force, an inner light, and the desire to express who we are – without words, through feeling and heart.

It is my wish that this exhibition becomes more than an aesthetic experience – a gentle reminder that true beauty comes from within, a journey of the soul.

Thank you for being here and for sharing in this intimate and meaningful moment.

Opening Speech by Szandra Kalmárné Sitku

Dear Guests and Visitors,

I am honored to have the privilege of opening the exhibition of one of my closest friends. Our friendship began here, within the walls of the Faculty of Engineering, just over six years ago, shortly after I started working at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2018.

Our bond developed on the foundation of shared interests: self-discovery and creativity. As we got to know each other, we realized how much we have in common. During our childhood, both of us were deeply fascinated by self-expression through shapes and colors, so our shared love for creating became an immediate and strong connection. We loved painting, drawing, and making art – initially with pencils, pastels, and watercolors.

Through our conversations, I learned that during her high school and university years, this artistic practice had largely stopped, even though she had pursued it passionately in elementary school.

I was deeply saddened to hear this, yet I was equally delighted when one day she shared that she had started painting again. From that moment on, I witnessed the continuous creation of works emerging from Szandi’s hands month after month. In 2019, we celebrated this process with a joint exhibition, featuring not only Szandi but also several members of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, displaying graphics, paintings, and photographs.

I observed that my dear friend, who initially experimented with figurative forms and playful techniques, gradually transformed over the years into a more confident, conscious painter whose art now seeks to have an impact. This development has continuously inspired my admiration and support. I often ask myself: What other wonders might yet emerge from her hands? Looking at her paintings, I feel their effect on me; they move me emotionally and spiritually, provoking thought and reflection.

For Szandi, creating art has once again become a tool for self-expression, a way to manifest and process emotions. A beautiful example of this is her exhibition in Budapest, which opened at the Unio Gallery Europe on July 7, 2024. Our emotions are essential elements of our lives, even when we do not consciously experience them. They shape our daily life, well-being, and attitudes toward the world around us.

While we may deny our feelings, their existence is undeniable – proof of our humanity. Every artwork that evokes emotion within us, without explanation, brings us closer to the mystery of our intangible feelings. Szandi currently paints intuitively, and her works can be viewed on truzsart.com. Intuitive creation – producing art based on impressions, emotions, and inner sensations – is an experiential process through which the final piece emerges. On the canvas, colors, forms, and flowing shapes appear, bringing life and dynamism to the work.

Painting – the act of playing with colors – offers an extraordinary opportunity to ground, express, and give physical form to our fluctuating emotions. Congratulations, Szandi, for allowing your emotions to flow so abundantly, and for channeling them into your brushstrokes. With these works, you symbolically cast a stone into the still waters of the viewers’ thoughts, and perhaps their emotions as well. I sincerely thank everyone for honoring this event with their presence, and I suggest we now explore the exhibition together, guided by the artist’s reflections.

A Professional Tribute by Dávid Putnoki, Gallery and Art Director

Dear Guests and Visitors,

Let me begin by saying that Dr. Alexandra Truzsi’s academic and artistic journey is extraordinary – truly exceptional. She is a wonderfully multifaceted individual, just as her intuitive and compelling paintings are. Painting has gradually returned to Alexandra’s life over the past ten years, and today her creative work has become almost a passion. Here, in the Chamber Hall, you can see works that arise from her instinctive intuition and experiential insight.

Over the past years, she has had the opportunity to participate in so-called collective exhibitions, including the University Fine Arts Exhibition organized by the Friends of Kossuth Lajos University Association. Yet what makes me particularly proud is that today marks her first solo exhibition, and that it takes place right here at Unio Gallery Europe!

Allow me to share a small insight: writing a professional tribute is not an easy task. The greater the talent of the artist, the more challenging the words become. And yet, let me attempt to describe Alexandra Truzsi’s art, whose talent stems primarily from her innate gifts. In her, we witness a vibrant, creative life – a talent consistently shining at its zenith. That radiance, visible through her works, is something a true artist cannot contain, nor can any cosmic black hole absorb it.

I must confess, I pondered and wrestled with finding the most fitting and precise words, so that I might rise to the level of describing the unparalleled and meticulous artistic practice that Alexandra embodies.

Let me quote László Nagy: “Perform the miracle, do not explain it!” – I share this here because it captures Alexandra in the most expressive way. I also know that accessing the deepest secrets of an artist is never easy; one can only touch them, often at the cost of noble scratches. Yet, it is not simple to condense her extraordinary spirit and the profound strength of her message. Paying homage to such talent feels like an inner imperative, for she has been endowed by the Highest with the fullest measure of ability.

Dear Guests,

Art carries responsibility, as it contributes to both the psychological and cultural development of a person. The experiences and impressions we receive shape and refine our personality. Painting can perhaps be understood as a medium through which colors, brushstrokes, and expressive power convey feelings and sensations to the viewer that are often difficult to put into words.

What is certain is that delighting the eye and captivating the viewer is no simple task, especially in a world already saturated with stimuli. Yet, presenting a new world to the audience and engaging their attention in an inexplicable way is a tremendous challenge – one that painting alone can uniquely accomplish. I trust that in Alexandra’s art, you will see and feel exactly this. The artist, having created the work, cannot participate directly in the viewer’s process of discovery.

Thus, the artworks begin to take on a life of their own, and in a sense, may awaken within us. If we are patient, and if our imagination has not yet been permanently anchored by the monotony of everyday life, we can surrender ourselves to new experiences. Observe the abstract, strikingly visible, and sometimes playfully inventive qualities of the works on the walls – the special world of dreams, the vibrancy of strong colors. And if it does not immediately succeed – as it may happen that our tired minds cannot grasp the essence of a piece – return again to the work, or even ask the artist herself.

Today, the artist has shared her talent with us through these works. She frequently employs vivid colors, and in applying them to canvas, she feels a sense of harmony. I believe her intention is clear: through her use of color, she seeks to bring people closer to the work and to captivate them.

Despite having met Alexandra only twice, I found her to be a confident and decisive, yet humble person – qualities that make her very likable. Audience feedback is important in the life of a visual artist, as it can be highly valuable and even influence adjustments to their work during the creative process. I believe I can speak on behalf of our exhibiting artist when I say that love, passion, and energy can reach anyone – regardless of age, gender, or even place of residence.
